Painted Idols was started in 2006 by UK artist Steve Bowles.

What began as a hobby soon turned into a full time career after Steve exhibited some of his works in a Yorkshire art exhibition. In the following months his order book exploded and has now painted and sold well over 1000 pieces.

Every image you see on this site is first hand sketched then hand painted by Steve himself from his workshop in Hull.
